NEUERO RAILTEC
NEUERO RAILTEC is a German manufacturer of lifting and turning systems for railway workshops, producing lifting jack systems, turntables and complete workshop packages at its plant in Emlichheim, Lower Saxony.
NEUERO RAILTEC GmbH has its headquarters and production in Emlichheim in the county of Bentheim, with a second site in Melle near Osnabrück. Sales, project planning and engineering for the railway workshop systems are handled from Melle, while all production, assembly and maintenance take place in Emlichheim.
The company was founded as AMB Anlagen- und Maschinenbau GmbH, emerging from part of the former Emlichheimer Maschinenfabrik, and has manufactured at its Industriestraße halls since 2003. Since 1 January 2017 it has been part of the family-owned Peters Gruppe.
Core products and services
The rail portfolio centres on lifting and jacking equipment: lifting jack systems for raising individual vehicles or complete trains, and light lifting jacks, mobile or fixed, for bogies and powerpacks. The systems are used for maintenance, repair and the exchange of bogies and wheelsets.
The range extends to turntables, lifting-turning devices, wheelset turning devices and complete component packages for railway workshops, covering the broader maintenance and workshop equipment needs of a depot. The equipment serves high-speed trains, regional trains, metros, trams and locomotives.
A second business field is steel bridge construction, producing foot, road and railway bridges. NEUERO RAILTEC is certified and prequalified by Deutsche Bahn and states that it is one of 24 companies in Europe permitted to build and install steel bridges for Deutsche Bahn.
Market position
The company has delivered workshop projects in Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. According to its own channels, Germany is the home market.
The Emlichheim site covers more than 37,000 square metres of grounds with over 14,000 square metres of production area. Design, fabrication and on-site installation are performed by the company’s own engineering and assembly staff.
