3B infra
3B infra is a Vienna-based software company supplying INFRALIFE, a standard asset management system developed specifically for infrastructure managers in the European rail sector.
3B infra infrastruktur management systeme GmbH is registered in Vienna under commercial register number 296379b at the Vienna commercial court. A second entity, 3B infra solutions GmbH, was entered in the register in March 2019 and is wholly owned by the parent company.
Its registered business purpose covers software development and the sale, design, implementation and support of IT systems for infrastructure operators. Both entities work within digital systems and software rather than hardware supply, and share an address in central Vienna.
Modular platform
INFRALIFE is a modular platform in the field of asset management and lifecycle software, supplied to railway infrastructure operators. Its capabilities fall into three areas: master data management, lifecycle management, and reporting and visualisation.
The master data layer holds the railway network model, an asset register and linear asset management functions such as dynamic segmentation. According to the company, the network model complies with International Union of Railways (UIC) definitions.
Lifecycle functions cover maintenance planning, operational incident management, condition monitoring integration and a mobile field service app for iOS and Android. Reporting covers network condition reporting, investment forecasting, a graphical linear route map and a railway-specific geographic information system (GIS) module.

The company’s published customer list covers operators in Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Hungary and Slovenia.
It includes the Austrian Federal Railways infrastructure company ÖBB Infrastruktur, Hungarian State Railways (MÁV), Slovenian Railways (SŽ), Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL) and BLT Baselland Transport in Switzerland, alongside regional and urban operators such as Graz Linien, Wiener Lokalbahnen and Zillertaler Verkehrsbetriebe.
