Virgin signs for 12 Channel trains, financing still to close

CROSS-BORDER: Virgin has signed agreements with Alstom for 12 Avelia Stream high-speed trains and their maintenance for planned Channel Tunnel services from 2030. Alstom will book the order only after regulatory approval and financial close. Virgin had expected to close its financing by the end of 2025.
