Trilogical Technologies
Trilogical Technologies is an Israeli supplier of rolling stock telematics, headquartered in Rishon LeZion and providing remote condition monitoring and diagnostics for locomotives and freight wagons.
Trilogical Technologies Ltd was founded in 1994 and builds on sensor and communications engineering for aviation, defence and logistics. The company’s own material puts its entry into the railway sector in the late 2000s and its headcount at 11–50. Its rail work sits mainly in freight technology, where wagon-level data has become the basis for condition-based maintenance and shipment visibility.
Core products
Trilogical develops both hardware and software in-house. Its portfolio centres on three systems: Control FREAK, a locomotive telematics platform for real-time performance and health data; RailBlazer, a wagon-mounted unit for cargo tracking and telematics that combines satellite positioning, embedded sensors and cellular communication; and the Long-Train Intelligence System (LTIS), which links locomotives and wagons through proprietary mesh communication.
RailBlazer runs on internal non-rechargeable batteries with a service life of up to six years and connects external sensors over Bluetooth Low Energy. The company states that the unit meets Association of American Railroads specification S-2045 for wireless railcar sensor devices. As of July 2026 it does not appear on the RailPulse coalition’s published list of certified telemetry vendors.
LTIS provides continuous train integrity monitoring, end-of-train alerts and a driver advisory application. A Virtual Digital Automatic Coupling (VDAC) function based on the same mesh technology is under development.
Market position
Trilogical says it is certified under the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) and monitors several thousand mobile assets on rail projects in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Its customers are railroads, fleet owners and shippers. Its published project references lie outside Europe.
Recent activity
Trilogical presented LTIS at InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin. It exhibited at Railway Interchange in Omaha in June 2026 and has announced participation in InnoTrans in Berlin from 22 to 25 September 2026.
In March 2026 the company published a positioning of its locomotive platform toward metro and light rail operators, extending its stated focus beyond freight.
