Only Polregio bids in regional rail tender 35% over budget

POLAND: Polregio was the only bidder in a tender for regional rail services in north-eastern Warmia-Masuria, and its price is roughly 35% above the region’s budget. The incumbent operator asked for PLN 1.355bn across three packages against PLN 1.005bn set aside by the regional government.
