Czechia puts nearly half its planning money into high speed

CZECHIA: Infrastructure manager Správa železnic will spend 44% of its CZK 5.4bn budget for design work and land purchases on high-speed lines in 2027, twice this year’s share. Design firms bidding for its contracts will also be scored on how much construction cost they save.
